Balance boards help to develop a person’s sense of balance and equilibrium and can help with brain development. They are not only great fun for kids, but they are also used for athletic training and physical therapy.
I've seen the benefits of these great toys/tools first hand. My son uses a balance board at school to train his motor skills and improve hand-eye coordination, and his writing has improved a ton! He even does drills where he has to bounce a ball while balancing. (I'm not sure I could pull-off that one!) The Challenge board looks like it would be great because it includes a ball maze game right in the board. I can see the challenge of that encouraging my son to work longer and harder, and have fun while doing it.
I would love to have one of these for my son, and I image I would have to give him a good laugh watching Mom try to "play" too.
